Strut channel nuts are used to place and secure fittings, electrical panels, junction boxes, or piping clamps within channels or conduits. They consist of a nut with grooves on the side that fit over side of the channel edge and a screw hole. Tightening a screw in the nut causes teeth in the grooves to lock into the channel edge, holding the nut in place.
Moreover, Spring washers, which have axial flexibility and are used to prevent fastening or loosening due to vibrations. Locking washers, which prevent fastening or loosening by preventing unscrewing rotation of the fastening device; locking washers are usually also spring washers.
Application : The Garg Fasteners supplies high-performance spring nuts and strut channel nuts for industrial applications. Our spring and channel nuts are manufactured to the highest quality standards, meeting ASTM A108 or ASTM A36 standards. We offer competitive prices, quick turnaround, and same-day shipping for many products.
Spring nuts are one-piece, self-locking nuts that secure screws and prevent them from loosening due to vibration. Long spring channel nuts are used to secure screws in framing channels, cable management conduits, and ducting systems.
Types : Channel Nuts are produced from steel bars because steel has high tensile strength, can be combined with other alloys and is resistant to a lot of corrosives. Channel nuts are rectangular with the ends shaped to allow a quarter turn crosswise in the framing slot after inserting through the opening in the channel and to prevent any further turning of the nut.
Two serrated grooves in the top of the nut engage the inturned edges of the channel and, after bolting is done, will prevent any lengthwise movement of the bolt and nut within the framing member. For different applications, you need different types of nuts. All Armafix’s channel nuts are available in M6, M8, M10 and M12 (the number indicates the thread diameter).
